[摘要] :
In a continuous competitive and globalized world, there is an increasing need for international business people to refine their language skills in order to maintain competiveness and success. In order to help students meet the communication challenges in current growing and competitive global business environment, the training materials and teaching methods for English communication skills becomes essential and necessary. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of practicing business English through in-class lectures and exercises and grammatical drills using various thematic topics and relevant business vocabulary. Through a series of practices that simulate possible real business scenarios, the development of students’ confidence and competence in English will be examined. The results will also prove to be an example of business English course design for corporations and schools for future references.
