[摘要] :
本研究初探靈修輔導者對接受輔導者心靈轉化之觀察，了解其對受輔者靈性與心理議
題交織與改變脈絡之知覺，以及其介入意圖與介入技巧之內涵，目的為擴展心理諮商
領域對靈性議題處遇之理解。研究以立意取樣選取具備心理諮商及基督宗教靈修輔導
雙重專業資格者，針對其為2位受輔者分別進行30次輔導經驗，採半結構式的深度訪談
法收集其觀點，以計5次各60分鐘之訪談資料為分析文本，再以持續比較法分析資料。
研究結果為：1. 輔導者對受輔者靈性意象與心理議題關係之觀察：天主形象轉化促進
自我覺察陰影、自我形象轉變催化與神關係連結；2. 輔導者介入意圖及技巧之內涵：
依據諮商心理學派形成個案概念化以詮釋心靈狀態、運用諮商技巧與輔導關係以促發
自我與自性連結、依據祈禱歷程引導心理議題改變以催化成效。研究結論含：1. 靈修
輔導可轉化心理議題，且需運用跨學科之理論與技術；2. 透過默想與默觀祈禱激起之
靈性意象，應評估其對受輔者之意涵；3. 榮格心理學派可詮釋心理諮商治療與靈修輔
導雙領域，可作為共通之理論視角。據此，對心理師、靈修輔導者提出建議。

[英文摘要] :
The purpose of this study was to analyze the process of the psyche based on Jungian theory and to understand the relationship between psychological issues and spiritual images from the perspective of the spiritual director. Three study questions were proposed: (1) What spiritual images have emerged in mediation and contemplation? (2) What are the relationships between spiritual images and psychological issues? (3) What are the case-conceptualizations and skills used by the spiritual director? In this study, one certified spiritual director with psychologist training and two directees participated. The spiritual director offered a 60-minute direction each day during a 30-day-retreat. The directees used the Spiritual Exercises composed by St. Ignatius of Loyola as materials for pray. A phenomenological approach was adopted, and in-depth, semi-constructed interviews were constructed. Five interviews and transcripts in sum were collected and a ‘whole-part-whole’ analysis procedure was applied. There were 18 main categories have emerged from them, and 7 core categories were found to answer the three questions. Jungian theory on ego, Self, active imagination and critique on the Spiritual Exercises were discussed and served as an approach for interpreting the results.
The major findings were: (1) The content of spiritual images: The authoritative God-image and the shameful self-image were interwoven in the initial phase of spiritual direction. The renewed God-image and the transformed self-image began to reveal in the middle and termination phases; (2) The relationship between the spiritual images and psychological issues: The renewed God-image increased the ego’s awareness of shadows; the transformed self-image strengthened the bond with God-image. (3) The intentions and skills used by the spiritual director: The case-conceptualization was based on Jungian theory to interpret the dynamics of the psychic energy. Counseling relationships and various counseling skills were applied to facilitate the connection between ego and Self. And the dynamic process of the prayers was used to strengthen the effect of change. The process of counseling and spiritual direction was compared, and the mechanism of the psyche transformation process was discussed.
The results indicated that the ego-self axis, which was injured due to trauma events could be restored in the spiritual direction, and the process of individuation might be initiated too. The psychic energy became to flow and the complex in the unconsciousness began to be resolved. To transform psyche needs knowledge from multi-disciplinaries, including counseling psychology, theology, and spiritual direction. The spiritual images activated from active imagination in mediation and contemplation should be the focus of intervention. Finally, Jungian theory could serve as a base for understanding the psyche transformation process in a spiritual direction. Suggestions were offered for counseling psychologists, spiritual directors, and further studies.
