[摘要] :
本文研究台灣在2001-2012年間犯罪率與各社會經濟因素在金融海嘯前後的變化，並探討社會經濟因素對犯罪率之影響程度。根據文獻的探討，本文選取了經濟成長率、失業率、離婚率、工業化、都市化、貧窮、吉尼係數與職業地位差距等社會經濟因素來分析。為了瞭解各個變數對犯罪率的影響差異，與在金融海嘯之前後差異性，本文以描述性統計量觀察每個變數的特性與發展趨勢，並以t檢定比較犯罪率及相關變數在金融海嘯前後的差異性，再利用迴歸分析探討社會經濟變數對犯罪率的影響程度進行分析。
本文推論出影響台灣經濟發展的社會經濟變數中，以離婚率、工業化、都市化對犯罪率最有顯著影響，金融海嘯與經濟成長率及失業率的交互作用，對犯罪率產生顯
著的正相關影響。而考慮了與金融海嘯的交互作用之後發現，金融海嘯與職業地位差距及貧窮之交互作用對犯罪率產生顯著的負向關聯性，而其他變數與金融海嘯之交互作用對犯罪率無顯著性影響。

[英文摘要] :
The paper examines the change of criminal rate and socioeconomic factors prior to and post global financial tsunami in Taiwan from 2001 to 2012. It also discusses the impacts of socioeconomic factors on criminal rate in Taiwan during that period. Economic growth rate, unemployment rate, divorce rate, industrialization rate, urbanization rate, poverty, Gini coefficient and occupation gap are used as socioeconomic factors based on the literature reviews. The descriptive statistic is adopted to observe the characters and developmental trend of each variable. T-test is adopted to compare the difference of criminal rate and socioeconomic actors prior to and post global financial tsunami. The paper builds a regression model to analysis the impacts of socioeconomic factors on criminal rate in Taiwan during that period.
Divorce rate, industrialization and urbanization have the most significant impact on criminal rate. The interactions of global financial tsunami and economic growth rate and unemployment rate respectively have significant positive impact on criminal rate. However, the interactions of global financial tsunami and occupation gap and poverty respectively have significant negative impact on criminal rate. The impacts of the rest of variables on criminal rate are insignificant.
