[英文摘要] :
This study explored the change in English as a foreign language (EFL) student teachers' conceptions of English language teaching (ELT) after a year-long ELT practicum. The participants were given surveys about their conceptions of ELT before and after their teaching practicum (TP). Analysis of the survey data revealed four main categories of conceptions about ELT. After TP, there were substantial differences in the distributions of responses in the four main categories. The environment that an ELT
practicum fosters could be the key to new insights and knowledge about English teaching.
