摘要
本文主旨是由生命教育的觀點，反省生命教育在技職教育系統中推行的經驗與困境。首先分析技職校院學生的經濟與社會背景，以及技職校院的教育目標，因為這些因素反映技職院校學生的處境，同樣的也是生命教育推動之處境。其次說明生命教育的內涵及落實的重要性與推動重點。第二部分以文藻外語學院之辦學理念為例，說明學校的辦學精神與生命教育精神的契合之處，透過課程架構與校內活動的介紹與分析，吾人可以得知學校之教育目標對生命教育的落實影響很大。技職教育作為高等教育的一環，絕對不應該只被當成「企業工具」或者「人力資產」的「職業訓練中心」，而是應該回歸到教育本質以「人」為本位，成為一個具有生命關懷的「人」，才能真正成為企業所需要的人才。
其次由文藻的正式課程及非正式課程規劃及實踐經驗可知，在技職校院實施生命教育課程可與通識教育課程整合，並與學校課外活動整合。這樣的經驗一方面顯示文藻的教育目標與生命教育一致，也可成為其他技職校院的參考。然而多數技職院校及學生在面臨激烈競爭的環境下，很容易先以生存競爭能力為優先，而將生命教育的推動口號化或表面化，因此本文也初步分析了北中南綜合性科技大學及護理類學院的通識教育課程，探討生命教育課程的推動狀況。
綜合技職校院的實際狀況及文藻的推動經驗，本文也提出在技職校院推動生命教與的行動策略，作為未來技職教育發展的參考。

Abstract
The teaching effectiveness of technical and vocational schools would play a significant role in Taiwan’s education system. Nevertheless, the importance of technical and vocational education tends to be overlooked in tertiary education because of the big differences in student qualities between technical and vocational schools and regular universities. In fact, the educational goals and content of technical and vocational schools have great effects on Taiwan’s higher education since technical and vocational education system is in charge of instructing half of the students in tertiary education. Consequently, this article attempts to explore the effect of life education on technical and vocational education system and effective implementing strategies for life education in technical and vocational schools.
First, this article introduced the special conditions in technical and vocational schools in terms of goals, the features of teaching circumstances, and student characteristics. Second, this paper described the newest development of principles and techniques in life education, and the importance and focus of conducting life education in technical and vocational schools. Finally, the implementing strategies of life education in technical and vocational schools were presented with the case of Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages.
