Personal Profile
My full name is Adelheid Bethanny Nugrahaning Sudibyo, but usually everyone calls me Betha or Beth. I am an Indonesian student studying Spanish in Wenzao University of Languages. I was born in Jogjakarta, Indonesia, in 19 May 1993. My parents both graduated from the English Department in one of the universities in my hometown and since I was little, they have been teaching me English. I moved to Taiwan after graduating from high school to continue my studies. At the same time I moved to Taiwan, my parents moved to USA because my father was given a scholarship for his Doctoral degree.
Since I was young, I have been very interested in language, literature, and culture. I have always wanted to learn many languages and travel to many places. My family and I have moved to a lot of places, mostly because of my father's work. I think that is why I enjoy moving and traveling so much. My love for learning languages and culture has brought me to Taiwan and here I learned two languages at once, Chinese and Spanish.
 
Hobby
I have a lot of hobbies including traveling, writing, and making short videos. Even though these are hobbies, I try my best to be productive through my hobbies. I write in my blog which is usually about traveling, and while I travel, I record videos and post them on Youtube. I also submit my articles and publish them to third party websites. So, through all of this activities, I try to develop myself and try to be creative. I also participate in competitions that could help me expand my skills.
Introduce Myself
As I have said in my personal profile, I have been moving from one place to another since I was very young. When I was 3 years old, I had to move to the United States with my family because my father had to finish his Master degree. I moved back to Indonesia when I was 6 years old and finished my primary education in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. However, in 2007 I had to move to Papua, Indonesia, because of my father's work. When I graduated from junior high school, I moved to Surakarta, Indonesia, to start high school. After I graduated high school, I moved to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for my studies at Wenzao University of Languages.
When it comes to my personality, I think that I am pretty active as an individual. I enjoy being around people and being social. I believe that every individual has their own story and the more I can meet other people, the more I can learn from them.
As for when it comes to my dreams, honestly, I think I am a very ambitious person. I have dreams and goals for myself and I usually do whatever it takes to achieve them. I am very thankful because my family has supported me and my dreams since the very beginning. However, I am also a realist. I realize that life is very unpredictable and there are many unexpected things that could happen in the future. All I can do is try to achieve all of my goals and hope for the best. 
Besides being an independent individual, I also believe in God. I am a Catholic, but my belief does not restrict me from being friends with people from other cultures and other religion. When I travel or when I meet new people, I try to open my mind to new ways of life and new perspectives. Only in that way, I can actually learn something new and develop myself as an individual.
Future
I see many options for my career in the future and I am still considering all of my options. However, the one thing that I am certain is that in the future, I want to live and work in a Spanish speaking country. After 2 years of studying Spanish in Wenzao, I feel more attracted by the language and I know in my heart that I want to speak the language for the rest of my life. That is why this opportunity to participate this exchange program is very important for me. Reading and writing has also been a passion of mine. In the future, I would also want a job that relates to writing, it can either be travel writing or fiction.

計畫摘要
For me, Spanish is a very beautiful language and after learning for 2 years in Wenzao, I am sure that Spanish is a language that I want to speak for the rest of my life. Last June I passed the B1 BULATS test and I am very happy to have made progress. Nevertheless, I feel that simply staying in Wenzao is not enough to develop my Spanish skills. Even though my schedule is filled with Spanish classes, I still feel that there is more to that. Therefore, I want to go to a Spanish speaking country and find new opportunites and challenges there. By going to a Spanish speaking country, I will not only be able to practice my language skills, but I will also be able to learn more about the culture, food, and the people.
With this exchange opportunity, I hope can develope my Spanish skills, learn and exchange culture, and also develope myself as a human being. 
 
赴國外學校前之準備/在國外學校研修之規劃(領域/課程)
When I knew about the exchange program that Wenzao had, I was immediately determined to apply. I believe that through this exchange experience, I can actually learn more and achieve more in my studies. For that reason, I planned and researched all the things that I needed to know. Before applying for the exchange program, I knew I had to take an examination to see how far I had improved my Spanish. I passed my BULATS test (B1) and I also researched the university that I wanted to attend.
The university that I have chosen is Universidad Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). I have visited the website multiple times and have began to calculate the living cost. During my exchange there, I want to attend classes that can broaden my knowledge of Spain such as history, arts, cultural classes, and maybe even learn the tradiotional dances and cuisine. I also did some research on the culture in Spain and the ways to travel around Spain. Of course as an exchange students, besides from studying in Spain, I would also love to travel there. Therefore, research regarding travels and transportation in Spain, such as the train (Renfe) and buses (ALSA) is also important.  
Besides doing my own research, I also read the reports/reflection that was written by my seniors who also went to UCLM. The report helped me a lot and it gave me a general idea about how life would be in Spain.
 
返國後計畫
After completing my exchange program, I hope to have developed my Spanish speaking skills. With my developed skills, I wish to use it to help other students in Wenzao who want to learn Spanish. I am currently an English tutor in LDCC and I hope, after the exchange program, I can be a Spanish tutor too, or Spanish TA, and help others learn. By helping others through tutoring, I will also help myself practice and by doing so, I would not forget my Spanish skills after arriving back in Taiwan. I also want to encourage and inspire others to go abroad so that they can have a chance to explore the world. 
Another thing that I want to do after coming back from the program is to test myself by taking the DELE test. I will also start writing my thesis for graduation.
 
未來期許
For my future plan in Wenzao, besides finishing my thesis, I would like to take the DELE test and maybe try to take the B2 level if I still have time. As for my plan after graduation, I would like to apply for a job in an airline company. After a few years of working in the airline company, I would like to continue my studies, focusing on art in motion pictures. The final goal for my career is working with the branches of the United Nations (UN) such as UNESCO or UNICEF in projects related to media and film productions in South America.
