The concept of achieving net zero emissions has gained significant traction in global discussions surrounding climate change mitigation. This abstract delves into the European perspective on the journey towards achieving net zero emissions. Europe, as a leading proponent of ambitious climate targets, has set forth a comprehensive framework aimed at decarbonizing its economy. This framework includes ambitious emissions reduction targets, extensive investments in renewable energy sources, technological innovations, and policy initiatives promoting sustainable practices across various sectors. By examining the multifaceted approach taken by European countries, this abstract highlights the challenges, opportunities, and key strategies involved in transitioning towards a net zero future. Additionally, it explores the implications of Europe's commitment to net zero emissions for global climate action and the broader transition to a sustainable and resilient economy.
