摘要
在國際觀的風潮下,英語教學對非英語母語的國家和地區而言是非常重要。英語教學的傳統型態,以教師為中心,學生是被動的學習,亦是以教師教學的教材為學習的重心,而且英語考試又多以教師上課的教學內容作為考試的依據,學生在此模式的學習下,學習的範圍與應用性受到頗多的限制。更進一步論述,時代的變化對傳統的教學模式,會有創新觀點的啟發,如何思考跟上時代腳步的創新教學方法進行探究與應用,即使英語教學的永續觀點,也是現今從事英語教學工作者,應當思考與面對的重要教學課題。有鑑於此,本研究之目的在於運用永續的觀點,探討英語教學的常態與變化的分析與比較。研究方法採取質性研究法中的內容分析法與概念分析法,分析傳統英語教學法與網路英語教學法的異同。研究結果呈現出傳統英語教學與網路英語教學的差異性,以圖與表呈現之。本研究之預期貢獻在於提供英語教學工作者對於傳統教學與網路教學形式的反思與對話,期能增進與時俱進的教學效應。

To explore the typicality and change of English teaching from a viewpoint of sustainability

Abstract

Under the trend of international outlook, English teaching is very important for non-native English speaking countries and regions. The traditional form of English teaching is teacher-centered, students are passive learning, and the focus of learning is the teaching materials of teacher teaching, and English exams are mostly based on the teaching content of teachers in class. Students belong to this learning mode. Under this mode of study, the scope and applicability of learning are subject to many restrictions. To further elaborate, the changes in the times will be inspired by the innovative ideas of traditional teaching methods. How to think about the innovative teaching methods that keep up with the times to explore and apply, even if the sustainable view of English teaching is also an important teaching topic that should be considered and faced by English teaching workers today. In view of this, the purpose of this study is to use the sustainable point of view to explore the analysis and comparison of the normality and changes in English teaching. The research method adopts the content analysis method and the concept analysis method in the qualitative research method to analyze the similarities and differences between the traditional English teaching method and the online English teaching method. The research results show the difference between traditional English teaching and online English teaching, which are presented in graphs and tables. The expected contribution of this research is to provide English teachers with reflection and dialogue on traditional teaching and online teaching, and hope to enhance the teaching effect of advancing with the times.
