Q1: What is your S, W, O, & T before you graduate from the 5-year college program?

Strengths: I’ve learned almost 5 years in improving English skills. Further more, I’ve taken some more professional courses such as translation and prompt speech. These skills and experience do offer me the benefit to compete with others on the entrance examination
Of university.

Weaknesses: I didn’t take any course like Greek Mythology. It’s more difficult for me to learn it from the beginning compared to university students. And also, there are almost 80% students ready to study in English as their major in the university. Hence, I do get more competitors in the entrance examination.

Opportunities: I think English is now becoming the world trend of languages. And also, international business is now very common. They do really need translators to help them to cooperate with international companies. This could be my chance to show my ability on translating in order to work at international company.

Threats: More and more companies cooperate with not just English speaking area, but also some places like Europe. Therefore, lots of people are so good at English is useless not because they aren’t good enough, but the companies need bilingual background employees. In short, I think I myself should also developed my Spanish as same as English.

Q2: What can I learn from this semester before I can reach dream job?
My dream job is a translator who can do the prompt translation in any time. I think I can learn how to skim more quickly.
