How can we make our cities better places to live?
I think the first problem we need to solve in Kaohsiung is air pollution. Nowadays, lots of people have lung diseases because of air pollution. And the quality of air in Kaohsiung is just worse than Chiayi. I think it is a severe problem in the world, not only in Taiwan. First, we need to build more public transportations. CO2 can be released through cars and scooters. We could encourage people to take transportation as often as possible. Second, another way to improve the quality of air is to encourage people to ride bikes. I think riding bikes is a good way to do exercises and make our city greener at the same time. Air pollution is much severer than before. We need to do something to make our city better. Building more public transportations and encouraging people to ride bikes are a few solution to improve our city.
